Hugo first sets Eira up in a house across the street from Nellie, "the queen of Platin Metals," calling her "a good contact for Eira to have." In Right Hand Man that seed is cashed in: Eira reluctantly networks with her and comes away unimpressed — Nellie is "arrogant and condescending," surrounded by "this whole entourage that follows her around like some sort of collection. Different species dressed up like dolls." Vesper pegs her as "a classic Consortium nut job," and Hugo judges that keeping her happy is Eira's "most likely avenue of success." She still hasn't been seen directly on the page — everything so far comes secondhand — so there's no first-hand picture of her yet.
